1.  AIAC 2023 Cusco

건축종합설계3으로 타국가 건축학과 학생들과 한 학기 2번의 workshop을 통해 진행된다. 
같은 주제, 같은기간에 project를 진행함으로, 외국어로 자신의 생각을 표혐함과 동시에 다른 문화를 자연스럽게 접할 수 있고, 새로운 물화를 바탕으로 좀 더 넓고 건축적 사고를 가지게 된다.

2.  Renovation

각 지역에서 볼 수 있는 근대 건축물을 선정, 개축, 증축 등을 계획하여, 실무에서 접할 수 있는 많은 Renovation을 접하게 한다. 도시 속에 성장해온 근대건축물을 현재 도시의 조건과 새로운 개념으로 도시의 지역지구의 인문, 사회, 자연적 측면에서 재분석 한다.

AIAC 2023
The AIAC (Atelier International d’Architecture Construite ) has been established in 1999 to develop a pedagogical approach to architectural design that regards the issues connected globally while also attending to thedemands in the built environment.
It is a partnership of outstanding Architecture schools from all over the world to share an experience of working on a common design project every year.
Students of partner schools collaborate for a culutural field survey in a specific location and exchange their design ideas through a final exhibition of their proposals.
An international jury composed of architecture scholars and professionals selects the awardee projects.
CUSCO
Cusco, located in Peru, is a historically and culturally important city, especially known for being the center of the ancient Inca civilization. Located south of the Andes Mountains, it enjoys a highland climate, with generally warm temperatures all year round. It is located nearby the World Heritage-listed Machu Picchu, and many tourists use Cusco as a base to visit Machu Picchu.
Cusco is a city filled with unique mountainous terrain and archaeological sites, with much of its history reflected in the city's streets, buildings and public spaces. This city, where modernity and antiquity coexist, is a place to experience culture and beautiful nature. Cusco's city center combines the unique beauty of South American cities with the city's historical traces. Cusco has gone through various cultural and historical changes over the years, traces of which remain beautifully throughout the city.

PROJECT CUSCO
• The objective is to incoporate this expansion into the existing urban environment, for which is is first necessary to carry out a diagnosis of the meeds that will be neglected or not results of the inhabitants of the Wanchaq sector.
• Thus, it will also be important to consider the proximity to the Huatany River and generate public spaces that allow a revaluation of this water source, allowing the conservation of the biodiversity of the area. 
​
• Likewise, any of the proposed spaces must be sithin 2500 ㎡ to 4000㎡.
• The basic condition would not be to transgress the context, the alignments, the heights and the identity of the language of Cusco : historical and monumental heritage.
• Each program will b personalize based on the chosen scenario and must respect the following 
​
-Team that cnsiders criteria and topics aimed at technological aspects and sustainability.
-Integration with the urban environment and sustainable landscape treatment.
-Reviw of the National Building Regulations(Consideration of standards A.010, A.020, A030, 1.040 Standard EM-110)
-Consider at least 3 SDGs and create a scenario based on it.

MAIN PROGRAM
URBAN PROPOSAL
An urban proposal will be made, where a landscape treatment is reflected in addition to the revaluation of the Huatanay River throug an urban-level proposal that integrates spaces.

The program must respect the following :
•Public area with open sapces and free access : 40%
•Parking area for events : 5%
•Road plan : 20%
•Temporary market with green area(consider open spaces and free access) : 20%
•Different Facilities depending on the chosen scenario (The chosen facilities must respect cmmercial sector, office buildings,..) : 15%

ARCHITECTURE PROPOSAL
•Make a tourist architectural project that provides cultural identity to the area and preserve the biodiversity of the place.
•The place of intervention can have a Convention Center, Eco museum, Interpretation Center and others. Depends on your scenario.
•Architectural project area : 2500 ㎡ to 4000㎡
•The space proposed for intervention will be a commitment to the city.

The program must respect the following :
• Parking area : 1 coach parking space per 50 sq.m
• Area percntage : BUILT AREA (includes circulation area and walls = 20%) : 70%
• Free area (consider open spaces, green area and free access) : 30%
• Height : Max foor height -for one floor : 8m / Max levels (Including basement) : 5 F

근대건축물 리노베이션 프로젝트

전라북도 지역의 건축물 중 1900년~1970년대 완공된 건축물을 선정하여, 리노베이션 하는 프로젝트이다.

근대건축물 리노베이션의 의의

우리의 도시공간에는 역사적 의미와 가치를 가진 다양한 근대건축물이 존재한다. 그러나 도시의 발전에 의한 계속되는 확장으로 거대한 일변도에 편중되어져있다. 또한 이러한 도시의 확장은 무분별한 도시개발의 허용으로 이어지고, 보전계획이 마련되기도 전에 노후, 훼손된 역사적 가치를 가진 근대 건축물은 보전의식과 경제논리에 밀려 이미 상당수는 이미 멸실되고 훼손 되어지고 있다. 우리의 문화 역사적 산물인 근대건축물의 보존과 활용을 위한 리노베이션 아이디어를 제안한다. 또한 보존, 활용 가능한 근대건축물을 재활용함으로 지속 가능한 사회의 구축과 도시의 정체성을 확립하는데 의의가 있다.

전라북도 설명
전라북도는 대한민국의 서남부에 위치하는 도로 6개의 시(군산시, 익산시, 김제시, 전주시, 정읍시, 남원시), 8개의 군(완주군, 진안군, 무주군, 장수군, 임실군, 부안군, 고창군, 순창군)이 위치한다.
지리적으로 노령산맥을 경계로 동부 산악지대와 서부 평야지대로 구분되며, 교통적으로는 서남부 중심지를 차지해 호남지역 교통의 중심지이며, 육로·항공·수상교통이 고르게 발달해 있다. 특히 도로·철도 등 육로 교통이 잘 발달해 있다. 이는 일제 강점기에 수탈을 위해 근대시대 때부터 교통이 발전되었다. 평야지대에서 수확한 곡식들을 수탈해가기 적절한 지역으로 변모되었다. 문화적으로는 예로부터 전라도 지역은 드넓은 평야로 인해 넉넉한 경제력과 많은 인구가 거주하면서, 문화·예술의 꽃을 피워냈다. 고려청자, 판소리, 한옥 등 다양한 전통문화가 계승·발전되어왔다.
